The Dong Nai City Military Command said on September 10 that it had successfully handled a wartime bomb weighing approximately 300 kilos after it was discovered in Bom Bo Commune.
The unexploded ordnance was found by a local resident while working in a family-owned orchard. The resident immediately reported the discovery to authorities.

Following the report, the Bom Bo Commune Military Command dispatched personnel to inspect the site and confirmed that the object was a bomb left over from the war.
According to military officials, the bomb measured about 1.5 metres in length and weighed roughly 300 kilos.
Authorities promptly secured the area by installing warning stakes and safety barriers around the site to prevent public access and ensure the safety of nearby residents.

The bomb was subsequently removed from the location and transferred to specialist disposal teams for safe handling and destruction in accordance with established procedures.
