Crowds of visitors and vehicles filled the road leading to the tourist site on the morning of August 31, the third day of the holiday.
At Van Son Peak, visitors joined traditional games, including bamboo dancing, and watched cultural performances held to mark National Day.
Many young visitors posed for photos at Ba Den Mountain. Nhu Quynh, 25, from Ho Chi Minh City, said the cool summit weather felt like Dalat, allowing visitors to spend the whole day there without feeling tired.
A holiday highlight was the unique leaf market, where visitors could sample traditional dishes and local specialities for free.
The lively market offered visitors a taste of local cuisine and Ba Den Mountain's distinctive culture.
Tau pho, or tofu pudding, drew long queues of visitors. The leaf market runs from August 30 to September 1.
Cool, occasionally misty weather prevailed at the summit during the first three days of the holiday. Kim Dung, 27, from Dong Nai, said the summit felt as cool as Dalat despite the heat at the foot of the mountain.
Many children also enjoyed the leaf market during the final days of their summer holiday before the new school year.

Tran Thi Thu Hang, deputy head of the Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area management board, said nearly 40,000 visitors arrived in the first two days of the holiday, with numbers expected to rise further.
As dusk fell, mist shrouded the summit of Ba Den Mountain, creating a picturesque end to a day of National Day festivities.
