Among the new offerings is the 'Sacred Mountains, Open Sea' programme launched in August to connect the province's coastal attractions with its heritage sites and give tourism workers first-hand experience of local destinations.
The province has also launched the 'Hero of the Reed Flag' outdoor show in Hoa Lu Ancient Town, combining traditional arts, martial arts and modern stage technology to depict Dinh Bo Linh and the founding of Dai Co Viet.

Tourism authorities and local administrations are stepping up preparations ahead of the September 2 holiday, focusing on security, environmental sanitation, facilities and service quality.
A mass walking event, 'Together with Vietnam Moving Forward', is also scheduled for August 30 across the province, with the main event at Dinh Tien Hoang De Square in Hoa Lu Ward expected to draw thousands of participants.
