Miss World 2026 organisers have announced the Top 60 contestants in the Top Model challenge, with Vietnam's representative, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, among those advancing to the next stage.

Contestants from the Americas make up the largest group in the Top 60. The Asia-Pacific contingent includes representatives from Vietnam, Laos, India, Cambodia, Japan, China and Thailand, among others.
Under the competition format, the winner of the Top Model challenge will earn an automatic place in the overall Top 20 at the Miss World 2026 final.
For the event, Bao Ngoc chose a design inspired by Vietnamese cultural traditions, incorporating distinctive national motifs and colours.
Images and videos of her performance were later shared by several international beauty pageants and fashion websites, attracting positive reactions from fans. Many praised her appearance and the way her outfit blended contemporary fashion with elements of Vietnamese cultural heritage.
Since the start of the competition, Bao Ngoc has been regarded as one of the stronger contestants and has received attention from a number of international beauty commentators, who have placed her among the event's promising candidates.

Bao Ngoc and the other Miss World 2026 contestants are currently in Nha Trang, where they are taking part in key preliminary events, including the Head-to-Head Challenge and Beauty With a Purpose activities, ahead of the grand final on September 5.
