Sapa will be among the main attractions, offering golden rice terraces, village trekking and traditional performances as part of its Autumn Festival. Events include the Ban May Golden Season Festival, running until September 2, and a Northwest Brocade Carnival on September 4.

Bac Ha will host its Autumn Festival from August 28 to September 6, featuring horse racing, local cuisine, traditional green rice-making and cultural activities. Visitors can also explore attractions including Ngai Thau Hill, Na Hoi grasslands, Ban Zai Waterfall and Bac Ha Temple.
Tourism businesses are already seeing strong demand. La Beaute homestay in Bac Ha's Na Lo Village is fully booked for the first two days of the holiday, with operators preparing additional staff and services while pledging to keep prices unchanged.
Authorities in Sapa and Bac Ha are inspecting festival venues, accommodation and tourism services, while strengthening traffic management, environmental sanitation and visitor safety.
Tourism operators have also been asked to ensure transparent pricing and food safety and prevent harassment of visitors.
Local authorities will closely monitor weather forecasts and suspend tours to areas directly affected by severe weather when necessary, particularly activities that could pose risks to visitors.
