Under the latest adjustment by the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Industry and Trade, E10 RON95-III petrol fell by VND 210 to VND 22,110 (USD 0.84) per litre. E5 RON92 dropped by VND 490 to VND 21,230 (USD 0.81) per litre.
Diesel fell by VND 310 to VND 27,230 (USD 1.03) per litre, while mazut was the only fuel to increase, rising by VND 360 to VND 16,750 (USD 0.64) per kilo.
Global oil markets have fluctuated in recent days amid developments surrounding peace talks between the US and Iran and forecasts for global oil demand this year.
For this pricing period, the two ministries ordered contributions of VND 200 (USD 0.008) per litre to the Fuel Price Stabilisation Fund for biofuel petrol and diesel.
