Thu Thiem complex among four Ho Chi Minh City projects open to foreigners

Ho Chi Minh City has added four housing projects to its foreign-ownership list, including the 145,600-square-metre Thu Thiem Observation Tower Complex.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has published an updated list of housing investment projects where foreign organisations and individuals are permitted to own homes.

This is the 11th time the city has published such a list, bringing the total number of commercial housing projects open to foreign ownership to 148.

The latest update adds four housing projects to the list.

The largest is the Thu Thiem Observation Tower Complex, located south of the central core of the Thu Thiem New Urban Area in An Khanh Ward. The project is developed by Empire City Ltd and covers more than 145,600 square metres.

The second project is a high-rise residential complex in Thao Dien Ward, developed by Vietnam GS Enterprise Co Ltd. Located at 190 Nguyen Van Huong Street, the project covers more than 17,200 square metres.

The third is Lot 3-11 in the Thu Thiem New Urban Area, also developed by Vietnam GS Enterprise Co Ltd. The project covers more than 9,100 square metres.

The final project is the Phuong Viet apartment complex, developed by Phuong Viet Investment JSC. Located at 1002 Ta Quang Buu Street in Binh Dong Ward, the project occupies more than 21,400 square metres.
