According to An Phu Ward Police, they had caught the 44-year-old suspect allegedly scattering nails and other sharp objects on An Phu 18 Road in Binh Chuan 4 Quarter.

The suspect, from An Giang Province, was taken to the police station for questioning. Officers seized a bag containing numerous nails and screws, and are continuing their investigation before handling the case in accordance with the law.
Police said scattering nails and other sharp objects on roads could damage vehicles, cause traffic accidents and pose a direct threat to the lives and safety of road users, while also causing public concern.
Authorities urged the public to promptly report anyone suspected of scattering or collecting nails on roads, or engaging in other acts that endanger traffic safety, to the nearest police station or An Phu Ward Police.
They also called on residents to comply with the law and support community efforts to maintain public order and road safety.
