The Can Tho People's Committee has announced a second batch of investment opportunities, adding five projects and bringing the total number of projects open to investors through 2030 to 90.
The new projects include the 217-hectare My Thanh Industrial Park infrastructure project in Vinh Hai Commune and the 28-hectare Hau Giang Digital Technology Park in Vi Tan Ward, aimed at fostering an innovation and digital start-up ecosystem for the Mekong Delta.
The list also features a 175-hectare urban and resettlement area serving Song Hau Industrial Park in Phu Huu Commune, a 45-hectare mixed-use urban development in Vi Thanh Ward, and a 15-hectare Ho Sen eco-tourism project combining tourism, cultural and sports facilities.
The second batch follows an earlier list of 85 projects across 10 sectors, led by urban development and industrial infrastructure, alongside energy, tourism, high-tech agriculture, trade, education and waste treatment.
Tourism projects include eco-tourism developments at Lung Ngoc Hoang Nature Reserve, Vam Ho Islet, coastal resorts and mangrove tourism in Cu Lao Dung, and Monkey Island.
