The exhibition, titled "Ceramic Sutras-Echoes of the World", will be held at Sun World Ba Den Mountain and feature works by ceramic artist Nguyen Tuan, known as Tuan Gom, alongside artisans from Phu Lang pottery village in Bac Ninh Province.
Organisers said it would be the first large-scale ceramics exhibition staged on a mountain summit in Vietnam. The display will feature unique sculptures crafted from Phu Lang pottery, a traditional craft with a history of nearly 700 years.
Highlights include Nguyen Tuan's Ceramic Sutras, featuring a Buddha relief carved with the 365-character Great Compassion Mantra, alongside the "Bird-Body Buddha" collection and novice monk sculptures.
Nguyen Tuan said displaying the works at Ba Den Mountain offered an opportunity to present traditional ceramics in a new setting, where nature and art come together to create a contemplative experience.
Alongside the exhibition, visitors can join pottery workshops using clay brought from Phu Lang village under the guidance of local artisans. The programme also includes live performances, interactive activities and displays of handmade ceramic products.
The exhibition aims to promote the heritage of Phu Lang pottery while expanding cultural and artistic activities at Ba Den Mountain and helping preserve Vietnam's traditional craft villages.
