Another 181 projects increased their registered capital by almost USD 3.48 billion, while foreign investors completed 1,119 capital contribution and share acquisition transactions worth a combined USD 2.74 billion.

Major investments were concentrated in sectors including hyperscale data centres, biotechnology and smart electronics.

To attract more high-tech investment, HCM City is expanding the Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) by nearly 195 hectares, with plans for a science park featuring digital infrastructure, green facilities and research space. The project supports the city's 2050 carbon neutrality goal.

From the fourth quarter of 2026, SHTP plans to seek investment for a Strategic Technology Centre.

The city is also developing smart eco-industrial parks and strengthening digital and energy infrastructure to attract global supply chain investment.
