Rainfall of between 30 mm and nearly 120 mm was recorded across the province between Monday and Tuesday, with some areas receiving higher totals.
Thuong Ha Commune was among the hardest-hit areas, where flooding and landslides damaged homes, inundated roads and affected about 38 hectares of rice fields, perennial crops and aquaculture.
Emergency teams have been mobilised to assist affected households, inspect landslide sites and relocate residents from high-risk areas.
In Ban Xeo Commune, authorities evacuated 16 households and a sturgeon farm from a landslide-prone area and moved them to temporary shelters while continuing to monitor weather conditions and other high-risk locations.
The provincial disaster management office warned that rivers and streams could rise by 2-4 metres through Wednesday, with some smaller waterways reaching the first and second warning levels.
Authorities said they remained on high alert and were monitoring weather conditions while preparing emergency response measures to minimise damage.
