The figures were released at a meeting on Monday chaired by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Deputy Defence Minister, with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command.

Major General Pham Hai Trung, commander of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command, said the unit completed its first-half tasks, including preserving Ho Chi Minh's remains, maintaining security and ceremonial duties, and conducting combat readiness and recruit training.
The command also hosted numerous state memorial ceremonies, visits by foreign heads of state, and ministerial-level delegations.
The command coordinated with other forces to maintain security at the mausoleum and Ba Dinh Square, while continuing daily flag-raising ceremonies, landscape maintenance and logistical support.
The command also expanded its digital transformation efforts, applying information technology to command and operations while strengthening discipline, internal security and management of the mausoleum and the nearby K9 historical site.
Speaking at the meeting, Thang praised the unit's performance and called for continued efforts to safeguard the mausoleum, maintain its technical systems and preserve its political and cultural significance.
