Pham Hoang Thu Uyen has been selected to represent Vietnam at Miss Earth 2026, with the pageant's grand final scheduled to take place in the Philippines in November.
The 28-year-old from Haiphong previously finished in the top 16 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 and was named second runner up at Miss Tourism Vietnam Global 2024.

Pham Duy Khanh, representing the organisation holding the Vietnamese licence for the competition, said Thu Uyen was selected based on criteria including her public image, international outlook, willingness to learn and commitment to sustainable development, the core message of Miss Earth.
At a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on July 4, Thu Uyen received the Vietnam sash and was crowned by reigning Natalie Puskinova.
Speaking about representing Vietnam at one of the world's leading international beauty pageants, Thu Uyen said the greatest challenge was not achieving a particular result but fulfilling the responsibility of representing her country.
"Every word, action and gesture contributes to how Vietnam is perceived by the international community. I will prepare thoroughly and do my very best," she said.
Thu Uyen said she hopes to present Vietnam as a nation that preserves its cultural identity while embracing innovation, global integration and sustainable development.

She added that environmental protection today extends beyond tree planting and reducing waste to include technological innovation, clean energy, green transport and sustainable development models.
"I hope my journey will show international audiences a modern Vietnam, full of ambition and committed to building a greener future," she said.
Thu Uyen holds a degree in business administration and currently works in the healthcare and beauty industry. She is 1.70 metres tall and has measurements of 84, 61 and 94 cm.
Vietnam enjoyed one of its strongest recent performances at the competition in 2025, when Trinh My Anh won the Miss Earth Water 2025 title, equivalent to second runner-up, at the final held in the Philippines.
