Travel companies said fares on key routes from Hanoi and HCM City to destinations such as Danang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Quy Nhon had become more affordable, particularly on early morning and late-night flights.
The lower fares have encouraged more families to finalise travel plans after months of high ticket prices.

Tour operators said airfares typically account for 35-50 per cent of domestic tour prices, making the recent decline a significant boost for the industry.
BestPrice Travel said enquiries and bookings had picked up quickly, particularly for flight-and-hotel packages and beach holidays.
Pham Anh Vu, deputy general director of Viet Tourism Media JSC, said lower fares would allow travel firms to improve services or offer promotions without raising package prices.
Tran Phuong Linh, marketing and IT director at BenThanh Tourist, said the decline would not immediately affect prices for existing summer tour programmes, but would benefit independent travel packages and flight-hotel combinations.
Industry representatives said the lower fares could also support domestic tourism by making travel more affordable during the peak summer season.
