According to the organisers of the Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Display Co., Ltd of China and Macedos Pirotecnia of Portugal secured places in the final after receiving unanimous support from the judging panel.

The finalists were selected based on criteria including originality, artistic concept, thematic interpretation, pyrotechnic effects, musical synchronisation, overall performance quality and the emotional impact on audiences.
The Chinese team, which won the DIFF 2025 title, impressed judges this year with its display, The Flower of the East. The performance was praised for its technical sophistication, large scale production and seamless integration of pyrotechnic technology with creative storytelling, earning acclaim from both the jury and spectators.
Portugal's team also delivered a standout performance, returning after winning the festival's Most Creative award in 2025. The European representative impressed with intricately choreographed fireworks displays, distinctive visual formations and carefully synchronised musical accompaniment.
Following the official draw, Portugal will perform first, followed by China. Both teams will present displays inspired by the theme "Connected Horizons" during the DIFF 2026 final on July 11.
