Tour operator Lu Hanh Viet Travel and Sun Phu Quoc Airways launched the initiative at a tourism forum held on June 18 to strengthen the Hanoi-Phu Quoc market and expand cooperation among tourism businesses.

The two companies said they would develop integrated packages combining flights, accommodation, transport, entertainment, golf, MICE services and other Phu Quoc experiences
Ha Van Sieu, deputy director general of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, welcomed the partnership, saying it reflected efforts to build a shared tourism ecosystem that delivers greater value to visitors at lower cost.
He said closer cooperation among airlines, tour operators and tourism service providers would help create more competitive travel products, optimise visitor flows and enhance Phu Quoc's appeal as a destination.
The initiative is expected to support tourism growth on the island while creating new business opportunities for companies in the tourism sector during the 2026-2027 period.
