Authorities in Phuc Tho Lam Ha Commune, Lam Dong Province, said on June 19 that they were coordinating with provincial police forces to search for three people reported missing in a river.

According to local authorities, on the afternoon of June 18, Doan Manh Tai, born in 1989, took his son, Doan Manh Nguyen, born in 2010, and his nephew, Doan Van Kim Phat, born in 2012, to swim in a deep section of a river running through Phuc Tho Lam Ha Commune.
The three were reportedly swept away by strong currents and went missing.

After receiving the report, authorities deployed search and rescue teams to the area. Officials said search efforts have been hampered by the river's depth and challenging conditions.
