The Tay Ninh provincial government announced on June 16 that a delegation led by Nguyen Van Quyet, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, will visit Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany from June 17 to June 27 for investment promotion and cooperation activities.

The delegation will include Nguyen Dai Thy, permanent vice chairwoman of the provincial People's Council, Huynh Van Son, vice chairman of the provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of government agencies, local authorities and representatives of leading businesses from the province with interests in expanding operations in Europe.
The centrepiece of the trip will be three investment promotion conferences in Brussels, Amsterdam and Stuttgart, bringing together diplomatic representatives, investment promotion agencies, business associations, investors and European companies.
According to provincial authorities, the events will represent the largest investment promotion campaign ever organised by Tay Ninh in Europe, underscoring its ambition to deepen international cooperation and attract high quality capital inflows.
A series of cooperation agreements, investment certificates and partnership deals are expected to be signed between Tay Ninh and European organisations, associations and major corporations during the conferences.
Officials said the projects involved are expected to carry substantial investment commitments and could create new development opportunities for the province.
In addition to the investment forums, the delegation will hold meetings with diplomatic missions, business associations and major European corporations to explore cooperation in industry, industrial park infrastructure, energy, logistics and high tech agriculture.
Tay Ninh currently hosts approximately 2,010 active foreign direct investment projects with combined registered capital of about USD 26 billion.
Investors from 15 European countries and territories account for 79 of those projects, with total registered capital of nearly USD 1.2 billion.
