Nguyen The Thi, deputy director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, said revenue was estimated at VND 2.62 trillion, equal to 70.5 per cent of the province's total lychee earnings in 2025, despite the harvest only just beginning.

Lychee prices have remained at record levels, ranging from VND 35,000-70,000 per kilogramme for early-season fruit and VND 55,000-90,000 for the main crop, while the premium u trung variety has fetched up to VND 300,000 per kilogramme.
As of June 8, the province had sold around 47,530 tonnes of lychees, representing more than 38 per cent of its projected output. Domestic sales accounted for about 29,030 tonnes, while exports reached 18,500 tonnes.

Bac Ninh expects lychee output to reach about 125,000 tonnes this year from nearly 29,800 hectares, including 17,500 hectares certified under VietGAP and 255 hectares under GlobalGAP.
The province is also promoting sales through e-commerce platforms and livestreaming channels while developing lychee orchard tourism and strengthening traceability systems to support exports to high-value markets.
