According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from Thanh Hoa to Danang City, and in the eastern parts of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak, widespread hot and severely hot conditions were recorded on June 13, with temperatures of 36 to 38 degrees Celsius and some places exceeding 38 degrees Celsius.

Some of the highest temperatures recorded during the day included 38.7 degrees Celsius in Tinh Gia, Thanh Hoa Province, 38.4 degrees Celsius in Dong Ha, Quang Tri Province, and 38.2 degrees Celsius in Tay Hieu, Nghe An Province.
Forecasts for June 14 show continued hot weather across the northern midlands and Red River Delta, with maximum temperatures of 35 to 37 degrees Celsius and some places above 38 degrees Celsius. The most intense heat is expected between 11 am and 4 pm.
From Thanh Hoa to Danang City, and in the eastern parts of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak, hot and severely hot weather is expected to persist, with temperatures generally between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius and some places above 38 degrees Celsius.
By June 15, areas from Quang Tri to Danang City and the eastern parts of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak are still expected to experience hot and severely hot weather, with maximum temperatures of 36 to 38 degrees Celsius and some places above 38 degrees Celsius. The heat is forecast from 10 am to 5 pm.
