The Danang Police Department said the two men were considered particularly dangerous fugitives and were the subjects of international arrest warrants issued by Chinese authorities.
The suspects were identified as Man Jian Xiang, born in 1990, and Liu Hong, born in 1986, both Chinese nationals.

Following their arrest, Danang police are completing verification procedures, reviewing identification records and preparing to transfer the suspects to Chinese authorities in accordance with Vietnamese law and international cooperation agreements.
According to the Danang Police Department, the arrests represent one of the most notable outcomes of a 2026 anti-drug crime campaign involving law enforcement agencies from Vietnam, China, Laos and Myanmar.
The joint initiative focuses on public awareness, intelligence sharing and coordinated operations aimed at combating transnational drug trafficking and other narcotics-related offences across the region.
