Sam Son beach packed as heatwave drives crowds to the coast

According to local observations, beaches A, B, C and D were crowded throughout the day. At peak times, the shoreline was packed with visitors, with many people jostling for space in the water as they sought relief from the heat.

Restaurant and hotel owners along Ho Xuan Huong Road in Sam Son Ward described the weekend as the busiest period of the tourism season so far.

“Early June is always one of the busiest times of the year in Sam Son. Schools have started their summer break and students have finished their exams, so many families choose Sam Son as their holiday destination,” Long, the owner of a hotel near Beach C in Sam Son Ward, said.

Ngo Thi Anh, head of the Culture and Social Affairs Division of Sam Son Ward, told Dantri/Dtinews that the locality has more than 1,000 accommodation establishments. A large number of visitors arrived during the two-day weekend period, leaving hotels and other lodging facilities operating at full capacity.
