The Taste of Danang parade, organised by the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, featured food vendors carrying shoulder poles across the beach amid crowds of residents and tourists, accompanied by the distinctive calls of traditional street hawkers.

Organisers described the event as one of the highlights of this year’s food tourism festival, aimed at celebrating local culinary culture through interactive public experiences.
The programme also included a cyclo parade, with vehicles decorated with traditional food baskets travelling along major coastal tourist streets in the city.
Each food stall represents a different aspect of local culture, helping promote Danang as a regional destination for festivals, events and culinary tourism.

A representative of a participating tourism business said this year’s festival was larger in scale and offered a wider range of food products and cultural experiences for visitors.
The Danang Food Tour 2026 runs from May 20 to May 24 at Bien Dong Park, Tam Thanh Beach Square and other venues across the city.
