Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Lam Dong People’s Committee Ho Van Muoi said the province’s climate and soil conditions were favourable for developing green spaces across its coastal, highland and flower-growing regions.

He called on residents to plant trees and flowers to help build a greener and more sustainable Lam Dong Province.

The province aims to plant 2,345 hectares of concentrated forest and 1.65 million scattered trees in 2026 as part of efforts to increase forest coverage following the merger of three localities.

After the ceremony, local officials, armed forces personnel, youth union members and residents joined the tree-planting activities.
