Dong Nai City Police said on May 7 that they had coordinated with relevant agencies to organise the reception of the citizens following their transfer from Cambodia.
The group included three men and 15 women from various provinces and cities across Vietnam.

After handover procedures were completed, the returnees underwent medical checks, received initial healthcare support and were offered counselling and encouragement to help stabilise their mental wellbeing after returning home.
Police officers in Loc Thanh Commune worked with relevant units to record initial information, verify identities and guide the citizens on legal procedures upon re-entering Vietnam.
Authorities are also conducting investigations, screening and verification procedures for each individual case in accordance with Vietnamese law.
