The four-day festival, organised by the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, will run from May 20 to 24 at Bien Dong Park, Tam Thanh Beach Square and several other venues across the central coastal city.
This year’s festival has been expanded to feature a multi-sensory beachside music show alongside local specialities, seafood, highland flavours, international cuisine and summer drinks.

Beyond dining, visitors will be invited to “touch, feel and live” the culinary culture of Quang Nam and Danang through interactive activities recreating the region’s food heritage from traditional to modern styles.
A street parade titled Flavours of Danang, scheduled for 5 pm on May 20, will open the festival. Organisers said the event, held for the first time, aims to vividly recreate the street-food culture of central Vietnam.
The festival’s opening ceremony will take place at 7.30 pm on May 21 at Bien Dong Park, featuring performances inspired by the culinary traditions of the Quang region.
Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, vice chairwoman of the Danang People’s Committee, said the festival was designed not merely as a food event but as an experiential journey where cuisine is expressed through emotion, memory and creativity.
She added that this year’s highlight was a new approach that transforms local cuisine from a conventional dining experience into a multi-sensory cultural encounter.
