The projects form part of a broader 2026-2030 investment plan covering 15 developments worth around VND 500 billion.
The spending follows strong tourism growth, with accommodation and food service revenue reaching nearly VND 7 trillion in 2025 and visitor arrivals topping 6 million, or 112 per cent of the annual target.

In the first four months of 2026, Vung Tau welcomed more than 1.5 million visitors and generated nearly VND 2.7 trillion in tourism-related accommodation and food service revenue.
Local authorities attributed the growth to cultural festivals, events, and improved beach management, rescue services, sanitation and public security.
Vung Tau plans to further diversify its tourism offerings by combining beach tourism with cultural, culinary, sports and experiential attractions.
Landmark projects including Tam Thang Tower and Thuy Van Park are expected to further boost the destination’s appeal.
Over the next three to five years, Vung Tau aims to expand tourism linked to fishing culture, nightlife and wellness, while promoting greener, smarter and higher-quality tourism.
Authorities said tourism development should directly benefit local residents, with more households, businesses and service providers encouraged to join the tourism value chain.
Vung Tau has also urged HCM City authorities to support major connectivity and tourism-related projects, including an international cruise port, transport links to Can Gio and expanded coastal service areas.
