Thousands of residents and visitors gathered on April 30 at Mui Ne beach area, Da Ong Dia Beach and Thuong Chanh Beach in Lam Dong Province for swimming, sightseeing and leisure activities.
Crowds increased rapidly from early afternoon, with congestion reported on several roads leading to the coastal areas.

At Da Ong Dia Beach, families relaxed along the shore while children played, while Mui Ne was busy with swimming, photography and water sports.
Nguyen Thi Lan, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said her family had arrived early but still found the beaches crowded.
“The atmosphere is lively and services are well organised, so it still feels comfortable,” she said.
Mark, a tourist from the United Kingdom, said he was surprised by the crowds and the friendliness of local visitors.

“The beach is beautiful and clean, and this has been a great experience,” he said.
Heavy traffic was also reported on roads leading to Mui Ne and central Phan Thiet during peak hours as long queues of cars and motorbikes moved slowly near beach access points and parking areas.
Many hotels and guesthouses in the Mui Ne-Phan Thiet coastal area were fully booked, with room rates rising during the holiday.
In Dalat, residents and tourists also began arriving in large numbers on April 30, creating busy conditions across the mountain city and causing congestion on some central streets.
Hotel owners said occupancy in Dalat had reached between 80-100 per cent by the afternoon, with many properties already sold out.
Earlier during the Hung Kings’ Commemoration holiday from April 25 to 27, Lam Dong welcomed about 350,000 visitors, including 14,000 international arrivals, generating nearly VND 770 billion (USD 29.3 million) in tourism revenue.
