According to the city’s Department of Tourism and Tourism Association, accommodation occupancy is rising rapidly.
Occupancy has reached about 87 per cent from April 18 through the holiday period and is expected to approach full capacity, or exceed bookings, on peak days.
Authorities advised visitors seeking accommodation or tourism services to contact the city’s hotline at 0234 3828288 for assistance.
Local hotels, homestays and related service providers have also been mobilised to help meet demand during the holiday period.
Tourism officials said they aim to ensure visitors enjoy a safe and convenient holiday in the former imperial city.
