Authorities in Lam Dong Province have begun construction of a 1.2-hectare seaside park at Ong Dia rocky beach, aimed at expanding public space for residents and visitors.

Located in Phu Thuy Ward near Mui Ne, the beach has long been a popular destination for tourists and local residents.

The VND 11 billion (USD 418,000) project, funded entirely through private contributions, will feature a central plaza for community events, festivals and cultural activities, alongside landscaped open areas for leisure and recreation.

Officials said the park is designed to combine natural scenery, public amenities and cultural elements, with the goal of creating a new communal destination along the coast.

The project is scheduled for completion in September 2026.
