According to preliminary figures from the festival organising committee, the province recorded about 6.5 million tourist visits during the celebrations held from April 17 to April 26.
More than 1 million visitors were estimated to have travelled to the Hung Temple Historical Site alone on April 25 and 26.

Beyond being a spiritual ritual, the journey to Hung Temple has become an occasion for Vietnamese people to reconnect with their roots, strengthen national pride and reinforce community bonds.
Images of ethnic minority groups, families, groups of friends and tourists joining the sacred atmosphere created a vivid cultural scene rich in national identity.
On the main festival day, the 10th day of the third lunar month, which fell on April 26 this year, long lines of visitors stretched from the main gate to Ha Temple, Trung Temple, Thuong Temple and Gieng Temple, moving slowly and orderly in a show of respect for their ancestors.

Speaking with people attending the commemoration ceremony on the morning of April 26, General Secretary and State President To Lam said Hung Kings Commemoration Day was a very special occasion.
He described it as a moment for every Vietnamese person to remember the Hung Kings who founded the nation, Mother Au Co, national ancestor Lac Long Quan, and generations of forebears who devoted their labour, sacrifice and wisdom to building and protecting the country.
