The People’s Committee of Cat Hai Special Zone said building works would be halted from April 29 to May 3 on key routes in the central tourist area, including 1 Thang 4, Nui Xe, Nui Ngoc, Ha Sen, Gia Luan-Ben Beo, Tung Dinh, and sections of Road 356.
Households and businesses occupying pavements for construction materials or trading are required to clear items and restore public space to ensure cleanliness and accessibility during the holiday.
Contractors must remove equipment, reinstate road and pavement surfaces to technical standards, and ensure safety for road users.
A broader suspension will run from May 31 to September 5, covering all construction activities on selected central routes, including sections leading to Cat Co 1, 2 and 3 beaches, as well as Tung Dinh, Nui Ngoc and Nui Xe roads.
