The highlight challenge involves traversing 100 terraced plots during the water season, testing both endurance and speed while offering close-up views of the highland landscape and culture.

The race will consist of qualifying rounds and a final. Qualifiers will be split into six heats of 50 participants each, with the top 60 advancing to the final.

A total of 10 official prizes will be awarded, including a top prize of VND 3.5 million (about USD 133), followed by VND 2.5 million for second place and VND 1.5 million for third. Seven consolation prizes of VND 1 million each will also be given, along with certificates and sponsor gifts.

The event is expected to boost local tourism, promote cultural exchange and strengthen community connections in the northwestern highlands.
