According to Khanh Hoa police, the deportation was carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security and border guards at Huu Nghi International Border Gate, in line with Vietnamese Laws and relevant international agreements.

The group was discovered in late 2025 during coordinated inspections at five locations across Nha Trang and surrounding areas, where they were found using electronic equipment to organise online gambling and betting activities.
Investigations found the individuals had violated immigration regulations. Each was fined VND 17.5 million (approximately USD 690) and subjected to deportation as an additional penalty.
Authorities said the operation was conducted in a coordinated manner to ensure security and maintain public order.
