According to the footage, the scene was recorded on April 5 at a shallow, crystal-clear stream in Pu Mat National Park, Nghe An Province. A deer-like animal appeared, displaying a robust build, light brown coat and a short, agile tail, moving calmly through the area.
The animal repeatedly struck the water with its front legs, sending splashes into the air and creating a vivid, energetic scene in the forest.

The person who filmed the clip said that despite nearby human voices, the deer did not appear alarmed. This suggests that the ecological environment in the area is improving, offering a greater sense of safety for wildlife.
The appearance of wild animals in Pu Mat National Park is seen as evidence of effective forest protection efforts.

Le Anh Tuan, director of Pu Mat National Park, said the moment was recorded by a patrol team during their duties. “This was when the deer came down to the stream to drink, cool off and play. Its lack of fear indicates that the habitat is relatively safe and minimally disturbed,” he said.
Tuan added that the sighting is a positive signal, reflecting the success of conservation measures as habitats gradually recover and support wildlife development.
He also noted that such images not only provide an authentic glimpse into wildlife behaviour but also help spread awareness about biodiversity conservation.
