Police rescue forces said on Sunday afternoon they had successfully assisted a foreign woman injured while climbing Dinh Mountain, in Long Huong Ward.

The team received an emergency report of a tourist accident at around 12 pm the same day and immediately dispatched nine officers and equipment to the scene.
Due to steep terrain inaccessible to vehicles, rescuers had to trek through forested paths for more than 2km to reach the victim.
The woman had suffered a broken leg after a fall and was unable to move, while showing signs of distress.
Rescuers provided first aid and stabilised her condition before carrying her down the mountain. The evacuation was complicated by rugged terrain.
At approximately 1.50 pm, she was brought safely to the foot of the mountain on a specialised stretcher and handed over to medical personnel before being transferred to Ba Ria Hospital for treatment.

Authorities said the injured tourist is a Chinese national who had been hiking with a group of eight people, including five men and three women.
