Under the master plan, the project will cover more than 99 hectares and include a 27-hole golf course built to international standards, along with ancillary facilities. Total investment is estimated at more than VND 1.84 trillion (over USD 70.60 million).
Of that, investor equity will account for about 15 per cent, or more than VND 277 billion (about USD 10.57 million). The remaining 85 per cent, or more than VND 1.57 trillion (about USD 59.92 million), will be mobilised from credit institutions.
The timeline sets aside the period from the third quarter of 2026 to the end of the second quarter of 2028 for investment preparation and legal procedures. From the third quarter of 2028 to the end of the fourth quarter of 2029, the project will move into construction of technical infrastructure, landscaping, completion of the 27 golf holes and ancillary facilities, followed by its operational launch.
The provincial People’s Committee said the selected investor must implement the project in line with legal regulations and the committed schedule. Construction can begin only after all procedures related to land, environment, construction and golf course business conditions have been completed.
The investor must also demonstrate financial capacity, allocate sufficient capital for implementation, and take responsibility for construction quality, safety during construction and operation, fire prevention and fighting, and environmental protection.
Ca Mau Province has assigned relevant departments, agencies and local authorities to guide and support the investor during implementation, while handling investment, land, construction, environmental and preferential policy procedures within their jurisdiction.
According to the provincial People’s Committee, the Tan Thanh Golf Course project is intended to create a high-quality sports and tourism complex, improve land use efficiency, promote services and tourism, create jobs and increase local budget revenue. It is also expected to meet the recreational and health training needs of residents and tourists.
