The event will run from April 9 to 12 at the Hanoi international centre for exhibition under the theme “digital transformation and green growth-elevating Vietnam tourism”.
Organisers said the theme reflects the sector’s focus on digitalisation and sustainability to enhance competitiveness and adapt to changing market demands.
The fair is expected to attract participants from 15 countries and territories and 34 localities, with about 80,000 visitors projected to attend.
A business-to-business networking programme on April 9 will bring together around 350-400 buyers, including about 150 international travel firms and roughly 200 domestic companies.
From April 10 to 12, the event will open to businesses and the public, offering opportunities for tourism promotion, transactions and product launches.
A series of conferences and seminars will explore tourism trends in the digital era, green tourism models and the application of technology in management and operations.
Promotion programmes for several localities and a ceremony honouring outstanding tourism enterprises and individuals in 2025 are also scheduled.
The event will feature participation from international partners such as Malaysia, the Republic of Korea and Taiwan, alongside cultural exchanges and performances.
Officials said the fair plays an important role in promoting Vietnam’s tourism brand globally, with the sector targeting 25 million international arrivals this year despite ongoing global economic uncertainties.
