On March 20, the immigration management division of Tay Ninh police said it had coordinated with authorities at Tan Son Nhat International Airport to handle and deport 11 foreign nationals for violations of entry, exit and residence regulations.

Inspections showed all individuals were Bangladeshi citizens who had entered Vietnam for tourism. However, they later stayed on to work and overstayed their visas at a business in Thanh Duc Commune, Tay Ninh Province.
Authorities determined the violations included entering the country for purposes inconsistent with visa conditions and overstaying permitted residence periods. Administrative fines were imposed, alongside deportation measures.
Officials said enforcement efforts would be stepped up in the coming period, with stricter inspections and penalties aimed at ensuring security and public order in the area.
