Vietnam Banh Mi festival to take place in HCM City in April
The Vietnam Banh Mi (bread) Festival 2026 is scheduled to be held from April 23 to 26 in Ho Chi Minh City, featuring a range of culinary and cultural activities.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, the fourth edition of the festival, themed Vietnamese Bread-Global Culinary Value, will be organised at Le Van Tam Park.
The event will host around 150 booths and is expected to attract more than 200,000 visitors. Over 100 exhibitors have already registered to take part.

Organisers said food safety will be prioritised, with strict coordination with the city’s food safety department.
Participating vendors are required to comply with legal procedures and hygiene standards, covering training, preparation and storage.
The festival will also highlight cultural exchanges between Vietnam and France, featuring displays such as bread-crafted replicas of the Eiffel Tower and lotus-themed installations.
Additional activities include an attempt to set a record for 50 vegetarian dishes served with bread, support for start-up vendors through donated bread carts, and a trade space showcasing a variety of food offerings.
