Among those present were Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang and chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Van Duoc.
The plant will be built at Song Than 3 Industrial Park with a designed capacity of nearly one million tonnes of products per year.
The project is being developed by TH Group with total investment exceeding VND 6 trillion.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Van Duoc said the large-scale plant would help ensure a stable and safe food supply for residents of Ho Chi Minh City and the wider southern region while helping stabilise prices.
He also praised the company’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection.

According to the city leader, the plant will use modern technology and follow a green, circular economy model to produce high-quality and nutritious food products while minimising environmental impact.
“This is the development model that Ho Chi Minh City encourages and prioritises, helping improve nutrition for residents and build a healthier society,” he said.
The chairman urged the investor to focus resources on completing the project quickly, adding that the city would support the company and create favourable conditions for its implementation.
