Gia Lai approves VND 2.554 trillion Cat Trinh industrial park

Gia Lai has approved investment in the 368ha Cat Trinh industrial park with total capital of VND 2.554 trillion (USD 100.15 million), slated for operation by late 2029 or early 2030.

Under a decision by the Gia Lai People’s Committee, the project will be developed by Sai Gon - Nhon Hoi Industrial Park JSC, headquartered in Quy Nhon Dong Ward.

The site is located in Phu Cat Commune. The project will operate for 70 years from the date of land lease approval.

Total investment stands at VND 2.554 trillion, including VND 383 billion in equity, with the remainder to be mobilised from other sources.

The park will feature fully synchronised infrastructure across 368.1ha, including land clearance, internal roads, water supply and drainage systems, wastewater treatment, power supply and green spaces. It is designed as a multi-sector industrial zone offering ready-built infrastructure for lease.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of this year. The park is expected to start attracting secondary investors from the third quarter of 2027 and be completed within a maximum of 48 months.

Authorities require the developer to reserve 20ha, about 5 per cent of the total area, for high-tech enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups in the private sector under preferential policies.

Under Gia Lai’s 2021-2030 master plan with a vision to 2050, the province is set to have 99 industrial clusters covering more than 5,400ha, averaging about 55ha each. By 2025, 62 clusters had been established, with 46 in operation and an average occupancy rate of 82 per cent.
