
Since February 22, northern and north-central areas have experienced light rain, drizzle and patchy fog, while mountainous and midland regions recorded scattered showers and isolated storms.
Forecasters said the rain is likely to persist until around February 26, before easing on February 27-28 with isolated light showers, early morning mist and sunshine later in the day.
However, further scattered showers and thunderstorms could return between March 1 and 3.
From Thanh Hoa to Hue, scattered rain is forecast on the nights of February 24 and 25.
Elsewhere, most areas are expected to see sunshine during the day and isolated late-afternoon or evening showers, with hot conditions in parts of the south.
The Central Highlands and southern regions may experience scattered storms around February 26-27, accompanied by risks of whirlwinds, lightning and strong gusts.
