
The ships, Kyoto Tower (Liberia), Pacific Grace (Panama) and Vinapco 26 (Vietnam), marked an energetic start to the year following strong performance in 2025.
The port reported double digit growth across key indicators, with cargo throughput rising by more than 10 per cent. Total revenue exceeded VND 1.7 trillion, up more than 14 per cent year on year, while pre tax profit reached VND 460 billion, an increase of 22 per cent compared with 2024.
Sustained growth has earned Danang Port multiple recognitions. The company has been named an Outstanding Enterprise for Employees for eight consecutive years and has ranked among Vietnam’s Top 500 Most Profitable Enterprises for nine straight years. It was also listed among the country’s 1,000 largest corporate taxpayers.
In 2025, the port again received the Corporate Sustainability Index award and was included in the Top 10 Reputable Logistics Companies in the port operations category by Vietnam Report.
Looking ahead, Danang Port is expanding its maritime and logistics ecosystem while accelerating digital transformation and automation to develop into a modern, smart port.
According to Le Quang Duc, deputy general director of Danang Port JSC, the 2026 strategy focuses on infrastructure expansion and advancing the port’s transition to a green and smart model. Key projects include completing the logistics centre investment in Ba Na Commune, Danang, by mid 2026, alongside development of an adjacent logistics service hub for imported and domestic goods in central Vietnam.
The port is also advancing several major projects, including the Danang Port Hotel, the 26 Bach Dang Building and the Lien Chieu Port general cargo terminal, while continuing efforts in green transition, digitalisation and innovation.
For 2026, Danang Port targets cargo throughput of more than 17 million tonnes, up 10 per cent from 2025, with container volume projected at 920,000 TEUs. Leadership emphasised a customer centred strategy built on green supply chains, digital transformation and integrated logistics services aligned with global sustainable port trends.
