According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the northern region of Vietnam will see light rain in some areas, with fog in the early morning and at night, and cold conditions from February 11 to February 20.

The central region may have isolated showers, cold nights and mornings, and sunny days, while the southern region may experience localised thunderstorms but largely dry and sunny weather during the day.
Looking further ahead, forecasters warned that a strong cold air mass is likely to affect northern localities around February 21-22, bringing scattered rain and a sharp drop in temperatures, with mountainous areas facing severe cold in places.
