Vietnam’s southern province of Dong Nai will stage fireworks displays at 10 locations to celebrate the 2026 Lunar New Year, or Tet, including a high-altitude display at Hoa An Bridge, local authorities said.
The Dong Nai People’s Committee has issued a plan for activities marking the anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lunar New Year, featuring cultural and artistic performances alongside fireworks shows across the province.
The highlight of New Year’s Eve will be a special art programme and fireworks displays. The programme will run from 8.30 pm to midnight on February 16, the 29th day of the lunar month, at two main venues: the Hoa An Bridge area in Tran Bien Ward and Suoi Cam Lake in Binh Phuoc Ward.
Fireworks displays will take place at 10 sites: Hoa An Bridge (Tran Bien Ward); Long Khanh Ward Stadium; a social housing area in the Cau Xeo residential zone (Long Thanh Commune); the Tan Phu Commune General Services Centre; Dai Phuoc Commune football field; Suoi Cam Lake (Binh Phuoc Ward); a commercial site in Phu Long Quarter (An Loc Ward); the Bu Dang Commune Administrative Centre; the Suoi Doi Urban and Commercial Services Area (Chon Thanh Ward); and Adamas Square-Diamond City Loc Ninh (Loc Ninh Commune).
In addition to the fireworks, the celebrations will include meetings with former provincial leaders, visits to historical sites and war memorials, and programmes to support poor households and other disadvantaged groups during the Tet holiday.
