According to the plan, the crew will shoot in Ha Long Bay and Tuan Chau from January 12 to 14. The production involves 94 people, including Bollywood star Sadia Khateeb and director Omung Kumar Bhandula.
In addition to Ha Long Bay, the action-romance film will be shot at several other locations across Vietnam, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Haiphong, Danang, Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh and Quang Tri.
Earlier, the crew filmed scenes at Son Doong cave in Quang Tri Province.
With a production budget of about USD 4 million, Silaa is described as an emotionally rich film carrying a strong humanitarian message and targeting a global audience. The decision to film in Vietnam was driven not only by its distinctive landscapes but also by a desire to promote cultural and tourism cooperation between the two countries.
The film is expected to be released worldwide in 2026.
