The 90 second clip, which has circulated widely on Facebook, shows a confrontation between several Vietnamese men and two foreign tourists at the Nha Trang beach park area.

The incident occurred near Bluesea Beach bar at 70 Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang Ward.
Speaking to the media, Quoc Viet, a representative of Bluesea Beach bar, confirmed that the person seen in the video was a bar employee who threatened the foreign tourists.
According to Viet, the incident took place in the evening, shortly before the 2026 New Year holiday. At that time, three to four foreign tourists who appeared intoxicated were walking past the bar without using its services.
Bar staff asked the group to leave the business area but received no cooperation. During the encounter, an employee held a stick to intimidate the tourists.
Viet stressed that the employee only threatened the tourists and did not physically assault or attack them.
Reviewing the incident, the Bluesea Beach bar representative acknowledged that the staff member’s handling of the situation was inappropriate, lacked restraint and failed to meet standards for tourism service operations.
The bar has since reminded and disciplined its staff to prevent similar incidents from occurring again.
