Authorities said the man was discovered unresponsive at New World Hoiana hotel in Duy Nghia Commune at about 2.45 am. Hotel staff alerted local police, who launched an investigation to determine the cause of death.

Police investigate the site.
Initial information suggested the victim, whose identity has yet to be confirmed, may have fallen from a height into the lobby area. He was taken to hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead before arrival.
After examining the scene and reviewing hotel security cameras, investigators identified two foreign men showing suspicious behaviour.
One of them was identified as H.B., born in 1976 and a Chinese national, who was registered in room 31510 at the hotel. The other individual has not yet been identified.
Footage showed the two men appearing to leave the hotel grounds in a hurry shortly after the victim was found. Authorities said they are considered persons of interest and are working to clarify their roles and any links to the deceased.
Later the same day, police conducted a full scene examination and continued efforts to identify the victim, establish the cause of death and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
